I attend to walk and visit other Red Hat Society Members who work the fair, they can't wear their hats but I can! The reason for the low score is because this important event is loosing it's hometown feeling, it's gone with putting hard sellers commercial vendors in the Expo Buildings. The Hobby/Arts Building is changing too. I realize that's progress to update, include all cultures, diversify Washington State at the fairs but let's not lose focus, where are all the local artists who bring their artwork and homemade crafts? That's where my money will be spent. Where are the clever, inventive, holistic, imaginative soft sellers who have manners? I will try some product if I get good service and no rudeness. Please don't take me by the arm and try to pull me to what you are selling! Isn't that called assault? What's this I hear about putting in a bar in the Spring Fair too like the Fall Fair? Must the public have alcohol in every event it attends, what message are you sending to the children and teens? And visitors from other states, other cultures, other countries? Those Fair Bars open up opportunities for so many unforseen situations. I am concerned about the children who are left with a wad of cash while their dads or moms go off and drink. Whose watching the kids? Just some things to ponder, because sometimes it cannot be about making money without being responsible for comes after alcohol disrupts the decision making process of the brain.

Bigger ever year, with lots of sponsors, more acts, and bigger events. The Spring Fair felt kind of like an afterthought years ago. Just something to fill in the time between our award winning State Fair, and the next year. But not so in recent years. The attendance is up, and there are more acts, food, events, and features than ever. It's well worth your time these days. If you like our Puyallup State fair you should go to the Spring fair. It's less crowded, and still really fun.

We had so much fun at the Spring Fair. The booths this year were great! I spent alot of money! The kids enjoyed the rides and the games. All the kids won stuffed animals which made it even more fun! Food was good, and as always the animals are cute.

This is just a great place for families. So much to do. And the line-up of entertainment is impressive. World-class entertainment, something you might not expect at a state fair. Plus all the fun typical stuff at fair.

Great FUN! My family and I go almost every year and always stay about 5hrs+. Most of the stuff is the same from year to year but there are a few new things from time to time. I'm happy that there are at least a couple of Gluten free food items I can enjoy now but, not many at all. I'm happy I can at least enjoy the fudge, shaved ice, some type of dole whip, and soft serve ice cream. Wish I could enjoy a real meal there though. It always seems like a safe place and we have never noticed any problems or rowdy people. Most of the people are pretty friendly. It's fun to shop around and check out the vendors. The wooden roller coaster is awesome too! Checking out the beautiful animals is a definite favorite too!
